Glanmar Beds

Originally founded by Alfred James Tear in 1909 as A J Tear & Company Ltd, the business was acquired in the late 1950's by John Glanister who further developed the Glanmar business and in the process built an enviable reputation for making fine quality, hand crafted beds.  Attention to detail and consistent high quality service - from placing an order to the manufacture and delivery - has seen Glanmar expand its customer base to include not only discerning private clients but also interior designers and privately owned hotel groups.  Today as part of the Mansion House Group, the Glanmar standard range of beds can be built with pocket springs and a spring edge base for even greater comfort further developing the brand with new and exciting models for the future.
