We are living in unprecedented times and we recognise the kind of pressure our members will now be under as we all tackle the fallout from the very necessary but devastating actions being taken to combat the COVID-19 Coronavirus. Like everyone else, our priority is to take proactive steps to protect the health of our members and employees while offering a committed and uninterrupted service as much as possible during this difficult time.
Very regrettably but perhaps no surprise to you all in the light of current government directives, is our decision to cancel both our Green Forum being held on 22 April and our AGM and Spring Forum on 23 April. The venue and all our speakers and contractors for this event have been incredibly understanding and flexible and of course we very much hope to reschedule these events for later on in the year.
Our AGM usually forms a key part of our Spring Forum and our Articles require us to hold this before early August so we will of course be carefully monitoring the situation and, if need be, working out a way in which the AGGM can take place online and/or via proxy voting. The annual report will be mailed to you in the coming weeks.
The NBF team will continue to do its very best to offer support to your business and whilst it may not be possible to schedule a physical meeting, PR & Marketing, Technical and general Membership support remains available to all our members via email, telephone or video conference call.
If you are not sure who is the best person to contact to answer your query, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org and your enquiry will be forwarded to the appropriate member of staff.
Every last one of us finds ourselves in unprecedented and unchartered territory and there are undoubtedly a very difficult few months ahead for us all. But as an industry we will get through this, be sure of that.
In the meantime, take care and stay safe.
